The Health Revolution Has Arrived !

RESEARCH

Research:

Many research works studied the influence of Omega3 in cases of heart attacks and death.   These works involved a great number of patients over several years.   The results are unequivocal:  the lack of Linolenic Alpha Acids (vegetable Omega3) is the principal factor in heart diseases and ensuing death cases.

It was found that a Mediterranean type of diet (which is very rich in Linoleic Alpha Acids) is good and efficient in preventing recurring heart attacks and death.

Furthermore, it was found that Omega3 is the only factor which can raise the HDL (the “good” cholesterol) levels in the blood.

Omega3 in general, and the vegetable one (ALA) in particular, has been found as having a positive influence in improving mental concentration and as an anti-depressant.

Advantages of Vegetable Omega3 vs. Omega3 extracted from fish:

Omega3 originating from fish contains heavy metals like methyl-chloride, lead and additional metals the most dangerous of which being mercury.

Although the metal contents in fish Omega3 existing on the market conform with the accepted norms (a certain level which may not be trespassed), their level do not go down to 0%, thus causing that over the years these metals accumulate in our body.  Therefore, pregnant women abstained from taking the product which originates from fish.

With reference to auto-immune inflammatory diseases (like for instance Krohn’s Disease, which is a disease of the intestines), the advantages of ALA Fatty Acids is enormous.

People with high triglyceride values, cholesterol, take statins (which lower these high values in the blood).  ALA Omega3 + these materials will give the best possible results.

People who take blood thinning medication may not take the Omega3 originating from fish (which thins the blood four-fold and is, therefore,  dangerous).

Vegetable Omega3 has neither taste nor smell.

The ALA prevents the linkage of blood platelets and, consequently, the formation of blood clots.

Advantages of Omega3 from  Salvia Sclarea over Linseed:

Linseed oil also contains 50% ALA Omega3, so what is the difference?

(A)  Linseed oil, in comparison with the Omega3 extracted from  Salvia Sclarea, contains damaging allergenic materials.

(B)  Linseed oil, in comparison with the Omega3 extracted from  Salvia Sclarea, contains a high percentage of phyto-estrogens – a female hormone.   Is this good?  In the USA, for instance, following signs of precocious sexual development, they passed a law forbidding girls under the age of 12 to take the hormone.  In Australia and New Zealand, however, it is a regulation.   In the USA, food additives may show a warning e.g. “it may cause …”.   In Israel it is forbidden.   Furthermore, it was discovered that the presence of a certain Estrogen may induce cancer of the womb membranes.  An additional problem:    also men require Omega3….

(C)  Linseed contains toxic materials from the cyanide family (in small quantities, though).

(D)  Linseed is a laxative (causes diarrhea) in some form or other, which may influence the digestive system, especially if consumed on a long-term basis and in more sensitive persons.

(E)   Linseed oil is a chemically unstable material, it oxidizes quickly when in contact with air.  The shelf life of Omega3 originating from  Salvia Sclarea is at least one year.

(F)   Linseed oil may cause problems amongst children (those who are sensitive to a certain protein).
