THE HEALTH REVOLUTION HAS ARRIVED !

WHAT IS OMEGA3?

The Eskimo paradox

Greenland belongs to Denmark, and the Eskimos started to immigrate there in the 40’s and 50’s of last century.

Danish scientists and investigators checked the diet of the Eskimos living in Greenland and discovered that their daily menu includes about 40% animal fat (from whales, sea wolves, etc.).  The scientists were surprised because their health condition was excellent, the incidence of heart attacks and arteriosclerosis being amongst the lowest in the world (click for the full research).

However, Eskimos who immigrated into mainland Denmark and adopted the living conditions reigning there became ill with the same ailments as the original Danish people.   It transpires that the diet in Greenland, although based on animal fat, contains Omega3 unsaturated fatty acids, which protect the Eskimo population from heart diseases.

Omega3:

Omega3 is the generic name for a group of fatty acids.   These fatty acids are not produced by the body, but are essential for the latter’s proper functioning.  Every person above the age of 3 needs it on a daily basis!

Chemical Description:

Omega3 is an unsaturated fatty acid which is essential for the well functioning of the body’s cells.

All fatty acids are composed of a chain of atoms which, at the end of its molecule formulation, includes the COOH group.

To this group is attached a chain of carbohydrates (C).

Whenever there appears a double connection between No.3 carbohydrates, we are talking of Omega3:   C = C – C – COOH.

If the double connection occurs between carbohydrates No.6, we are talking of Omega6, and the same with regards to Omega9.

These Fatty Acids Can Have Two Sources:

1.      From the sea – There are a series of fish and sea weeds which contain   Omega3.

2.      From vegetables –  Salvia Sclarea oil, green leaves, walnuts and vegetable oils like linseed oil, canola and soya oils).

The human body needs these three fatty acids in order to protect it from diseases.   The human body’s metabolism also knows how to transform the ALA into EPA and into good DHA, i.e. if we ingest vegetable Omega3 we would get all three fatty acids which are essential to our body.

Recommended Dosage:

For a healthy person: 1.2 grams – 2 capsules of vegetable Omega3 per day, one in the morning, one in the evening.

For a person who suffers from high cholesterol, from the heart, arteriosclerosis, etc.: 2.4 grams – 4 capsules per day (two in the morning and two in the evening).

§         There is no problem in taking a dosage higher than above since the human body will use what it needs and the remainder will be expelled.

Our Flagship Product:  Omega3 extracted from the  Salvia Sclarea plant    (exclusive patent).

What is Vegetable Omega3’s Contribution:

Vegetable Omega3 has manifold advantages, among others:

1.      It contributes towards the good health of the heart and of the brain.

2.      It contributes towards  the good health of skin and hair.

3.      It fights inflammatory diseases.

4.      It contributes towards the healthy development of fetuses and babies.

What are the Advantages of Vegetable Omega3?

Vegetable Omega3 has many advantages over Omega3 from the sea.

1.      It can be safely used by all age groups.

2.      There is no risk of presence of heavy metals (as a consequence of polluted oceans).

3.      There is no risk of oxidation.

4.      There is no presence of allergenic or noxious materials.

5.      It has no side-effects.

6.      It does not affect blood coagulation.

7.      The transformation ration of ALA to EPA and to DHA is individual, according to the needs of each body:

ALA, DHA and EPA fatty acids build the walls of the cells (each cell with its own particular composition).

Problems would arise in case of deficiency of any of the acids.   A DHA deficiency in the brain cells, for instance (a most important component of those cells), will cause attention and concentration deficiency, depression, “short fuse”, etc.

The ratio between EPA and DHA varies from person to person and also from product to product being marketed today.

The advantage of our product – the body receives its ALA and knows to produce and build the correct levels in the blood and the right ratio between the EPA and the DHA in a natural physiological way which is right for that specific person.   Thus is also created a good ratio between Omega3 and Omega6 in the body (1:3 in favour of Omega6).

The presence of too much Omega6 can cause problems or impair the generation of EPA and DHA.
